Wheelchair accessible.

Vardestopp is located on Hardangervidda, along National Road 7 in Hol municipality in Buskerud county, at the transition between east and west.

The rest areas of Vardestopp and Ørteren have been designed according to the same principles.

The design of the rest area is inspired by organic elements in nature and aims to make as little impact as possible on the vulnerable landscape. The undulating shape creates a variety of seating options with a view towards Lake Ørteren.

Vardestopp has seven parking spaces and several places to sit along the edge, on the benches and at two tables. Here you can take a break and enjoy the beauty of Hardangervidda.
