Toilets at Trollstigen opening in mid-May

5/2/2025 – The actual Trollstigen road between the Trollstigen plateau and Isterdalen will be closed until 14 July.

2/19/2025 – This year, the NPRA will be completing seven Scenic Route projects along five of the 18 Norwegian Scenic Routes.

9/5/2024 – After 30 years of planning and developing Norwegian Scenic Routes, the NPRA is now completing the third stage of the tourism icon of Vøringsfossen.

6/24/2024 – The Liasanden rest area on Norwegian Scenic Route Sognefjellet is reopening – now upgraded for the benefit of cyclists and pedestrians.

6/7/2024 – The new service building at Gjende on Norwegian Scenic Route Valdresflye will be officially opened on Wednesday 19 June.

Opening of Torghatten - Norwegian Scenic Route Helgelandskysten

5/31/2024 – On Friday 14 June, the Norwegian Public Roads Administration (NPRA) will be opening the Scenic Route project Torghatten.

6/7/2024 – Major parts of Fossatromma, including parking, footpaths and viewing platforms, will then be open to everyone.

2/22/2024 – In the 2024 season, the NPRA will be completing five new architectural projects, as well as reopening an old rest area after necessary upgrades.
